Yasser University, Turkey – Four UG students went for semester exchange in Fall 2023 while three students are currently enrolled in the program for Spring 2024.

Student Testimonial – Embarking on an exchange semester from NUST Business School to Yaşar University in İzmir, Turkey was an enriching journey that transcended mere academics. From February to June 2023, Ammar Bukhari, Ehtisham Ahmed, Nabeel Hassan and I, Noman Ahmad found ourselves immersed in a cultural odyssey that broadened our horizons and deepened our understanding of both business and life. Set against the backdrop of Turkey’s rich history and dynamic present, each day brought new experiences and opportunities for growth.

Venturing beyond the bustling streets of İzmir, our exchange semester led us to explore various Turkish cities like Eskisehir, Balikesir, Konya, Bodrum, and many more. From the bustling streets of Istanbul to the tranquil shores of Antalya, every destination offered a unique glimpse into the country’s multifaceted identity. Whether wandering through the ancient ruins of Ephesus or savoring the flavors of Turkish cuisine in Bursa, each adventure left an indelible mark on my journey.

At Yaşar University, we found a welcoming community of students and faculty eager to exchange ideas and perspectives. Beyond the classroom, we seized every opportunity to immerse ourselves in Turkish culture, from attending local festivals to exploring traditional markets. Through these experiences, we not only honed our academic skills but also developed a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of the global community. As we bid farewell to Turkey, we carry with us cherished memories and invaluable lessons that will continue to shape our personal and professional journeys in life
