Exploring AI’s Role in Organisational Design and Digital Transformation

NUST Business School (NBS) hosted an online guest lecture on 13 July 2026, featuring Dr Faizan ul Haq from Bentham Science Publishers for students enrolled in the Organisational Theory and Design course.

The session, titled “AI and Digital Transformation in Organisational Design: The Role of Culture, Innovation, and Change”, was organised by Dr Sajjad Hussain, Assistant Professor of Tourism and Hospitality in the Department of Management & HR at NUST Business School.

Drawing on his professional expertise, Dr Faizan explored how artificial intelligence and digital transformation are reshaping organisational structures, workplace culture, innovation, and change management. The lecture provided students with valuable insights into the practical application of organisational theory and design, enabling them to connect academic concepts with contemporary industry practices.
