Summary

Dr. Hashmi has over fifteen years of teaching and research experience at various prestigious universities. He has completed his Ph.D. in regional economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (QS world ranking 300th). His prior qualification also includes an M.S. in Finance from Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST). He served as a permanent faculty member (lecturer) at the Department of Management Sciences, CUST, for six years, where he taught courses in accounting, finance, and economics. In addition to his remarkable achievements in the academic field, he has brought with him worldwide experience as a researcher, reviewer, academic editor, and economic consultant for several international journals, prestigious research organizations, and professional bodies. He has published various papers in well-reputed international SSCI/SCIE indexed journals in the area of financial and regional economics, environmental economics, urban ecology, and sustainable development. His published work has produced more than 3,000 global citations, with an h-index of 35 and an i10-index of 55 He is currently serving as an academic editor of Future Business Journal (Springer Nature—ESCI Indexed) and an editorial board member of International Journal of Organizational Leadership (ESCI Indexed) and Muslim Perspectives.
