Summary

Ms. Fizza Khan is working as an Assistant professor of practice at the NUST Business School (NBS) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad since 2019. She is a fellow member of ACCA. Previously, she worked as an audit assistant in Ernst & Young Lahore and Islamabad office for 3 years and was engaged in audits of Albaraka Bank, U-fone, Alcatel-Lucent, NLC, First Microfinance Bank & MOL. She has expertise in using auditing software such as Global Audit Methodology (GAM). She has taught and developed various modules in Audit and assurance, Advanced Audit and Assurance, Financial Accounting, Corporate Reporting and Strategic Business Leader for 12 years. She recently wrote a case study Inventory Management at Westa Petroleum Services with her co-authors, published in Asian Case Journal in June 2022. She along with her team member also worked as Co-PI in 2 research projects of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). One aimed to measure end user`s digital financial literacy and its impact on financial inclusion. While the other one was focused on assessing the public sector accounting systems and practices in Pakistan.
