Hamlet Unchained: Bringing Shakespeare to Life at NBS

In Spring 2026, English Literature classes at NBS exchanged textbooks for the stage. Students of ACF-B 2K23 did not merely study Hamlet; they brought it vividly to life. Their production, Hamlet Unchained, staged on 15 and 16 May, delivered a bold and contemporary interpretation of Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy of betrayal, madness and consequence.

Why Shakespeare in a business school? Leadership is grounded in an understanding of human nature — ambition, grief and the complexity of difficult choices. ACF-B 2K23 demonstrated that literature and leadership are not worlds apart. This is the ethos we uphold at NBS.
